How to identify the quality of LED power supply

To ensure the safety of LED switching power supply, the products with short circuit, overload protection and flame retardant functions should be selected first. During the use of LED switching power supply, the power supply is on fire due to short circuit or damaged due to overload of power supply (overload of power supply). The so-called short-circuit protection is to cut off the power supply in a very short time after the short-circuit fault occurs, protect the load from the impact of large current, and effectively protect the safety of LED switching power supply.


Classification of LED driving power supply


Constant current type


1. The output current of the constant current driving circuit of the LED lamp driving power supply is constant, but the output DC voltage changes within a certain range with the size of the load resistance. When the load resistance is small, the output voltage is low, and the larger the load resistance is, the higher the output voltage is;


2. The constant current circuit of LED lamp driving power supply is not afraid of load short circuit, but it is strictly prohibited to completely open the load;


3. The constant current driving circuit of LED lamp driving power supply is ideal, but the price is relatively high;


4. The constant current type of LED lamp driving power supply should pay attention to the maximum withstand current and voltage value, which limits the number of LEDs.


Constant voltage type


1. In the constant voltage LED lamp driving power supply, when the parameters in the constant voltage circuit are determined, the output voltage is fixed, but the output current changes with the increase or decrease of the load;


2. The voltage stabilizing circuit of constant voltage LED lamp driving power supply is not afraid of open circuit of load, but complete short circuit of load is strictly prohibited;


3. The constant voltage LED lamp driving power supply uses the voltage stabilizing driving circuit to drive the LED. Each string needs to add appropriate resistance to make the display brightness of each string of LED average;


4. The brightness of constant voltage LED lamp driving power supply will be affected by the voltage change from rectification.
